Boredom
A slow death descends
upon the mind of a bored person
bit by bit the fragments break away
from the nucleus of ones imagination
till eventually all that is left is a
small mundane existence that,
goes nowhere and knows only
the constraints within the walls
of nothingness of ones prison
the mind

Lazy or Idle
lazy and idle but what does it all really mean?
i was listening to the radio briefly yesterday and heard those
words being mentioned i wish i now had listened to the discussion
to find out if well there is a difference
i would have liked that sort of discussion coz i think some of those words
could describe me well only if described as a form of creativity
so then what is the difference?
lazy i think is the unwillingness to do anything
idle a willing choice not to do something
as i can see im more swaying towards me liking the word idle
its a choice word an intellectually chosen non activity
its not lazy its pondering just like
an appliance in standby mode or
a car idling... its not inactive its sitting waiting to proceed
so im idle yes im idle shout it out to the world
just sitting pondering on life waiting to proceed
like this silly blogger... i spend more time changing the font
background etc than actually writing because
everything in life no matter what
has too many choices
actually life makes you idle coz its too difficult to sift thru all
the choices you have to make before you can proceed
like even a simple thing like going to the shop to buy something
say like the other day i had to buy coffee
its simple i go into the supermarket get to the coffee isle
when i get in there its a major city of sky scraper isles full of choices
that you never even thought existed and a professional idler as
myself will get caught up and lost in looking at all the choices
the countries they come from. and i have four types of coffee we
use at home... decaf instant, instant, ground coffee and pods
so before i have gone to the shops ive already made my life more difficult
keeping me in idle mode
i think maybe i really enjoy idling thru life
no set plan see where my day takes me
so maybe idle is a luxury a state of presence others would attain to
being able to afford yourself the time to just go with the flow
go off on tangents with no set direction
so no im not lazy im just
creatively idling my way thru life
just waiting for the right moment to proceed

Winds gently caressing flowers of yellow
herbage of green conveying thoughts of you
heavenly bodies touching still waters
like lilac skies across a canvas of blue
Celestial bodies poised in a colourless sky
luminating all thats divinely perfect and true
with golden silences encompassing your world
a delightful realisation that you are you
